I’m a writer and journalist living in Sydney, Australia, following nearly seven years in New York City. You can read about how I ended up in the US after 'winning' the Green Card lottery in 2010, here.
I’m always working on a few side projects which you can find through links from this page, including one called Ways To Go which is about finding your passion and making it your purpose.
While in New York with my husband Danny and a couple of friends — Heidi, Kerrii and Franzi — I played in a band called Clairaudience and we did gigs around the city. Check out our stuff here.
My work has appeared in DNAinfo.com New York, Quartz, Salon, amNewYork, Newsday, Publishers Weekly, Splitopia, MindBodyGreen, The Australian Financial Review, The Australian newspaper, The Australian Women's Weekly, The Daily Telegraph newspaper, The Herald Sun newspaper, ABC's Radio National, SBS and in many other publications and through various broadcasters over the years.
I am currently working as a freelancer for the Wentworth Courier, a much-loved local news magazine covering Sydney's eastern suburbs, as well as other local news magazines including The North Shore Times and The Mosman Daily.
Ways to Go is an interview series about finding your passion, making it your purpose and even your livelihood.
You'll find interviews with musicians, designers, filmmakers, artists, athletes and more popping up on Ways to Go.
Clairaudience is the name of my band. I play drums. We've performed around Brooklyn and Downtown New York City.
We also did a tour to beautiful Rhode Island. Find us on Facebook too.
Stanroria In The World
Is the name of my writing blog. It's where I put things that have no other home.
